NeuroLogic Physiotherapy & The Centre For Myofascial Release

I can't say enough positive things about NeuroLogic Physiotherapy, and in particular my physiotherapist, Katie Pauhl.

Having been diagnosed with MS, I was suddenly faced with much uncertainty, questions about how to function day-to-day, and wondering what I could do to maintain the strength and movement that I still had.

I researched and stumbled on NeuroLogic. My first visit with Katie gave me so much hope and new insight! Katie has so much knowledge and expertise, and coupled with her enthusiasm and easy smile, I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She taught me some simple tricks for accomplishing tasks that I had taken for granted before, and her obvious knowledge and experience allow me to function making some very small adjustments. She has developed an exercise routine especially for me, and really listens and encourages along the way.

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by name at the door, to when you leave feeling good about yourself, this is a place and a caring therapist I highly recommend.

I have been going here since being discharged as an out patient from the Ottawa rehab center since 2014 after my MVA which left me a C5-C6 incomplete quadriplegic. From the moment I went to my first appointment I knew this was the place for me. Nicole took me under her care and not only was I able to regain some core ability again they had me up and walking with forearm crutches within one year of my injury. Now it has been 6 yrs with continued success in regaining more muscle control and progress with walking I even managed to lower my Asia scale to a C7. And I’m very pleased with the outcome of my recovery. My Doctors are also impressed with my recovery as they had told me I would never walk again.. Thanks to Nicole, Ali, Sue, Lynn and Marie-Celine for all there hard work and dedication in getting me back on my feet and giving my independence back.

It was my wife's first appointment and she will definitely be going back. Katie was awesome and knows what she's doing. The rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly as well.

This is an amazing place for extraordinary physiotherapy. I've been to many physio places, NeuroLogic Physiotherapy is very unique. Carol Banens has helped me in the past with the acute pain; and now, a year later, she is using her great knowledge, experience, different methods, including Myofascial Release, to help me with the chronic back pain. Carol has also educated me on how our body works. I really appreciate it and recommend this place to anybody in need of good care.
