(February 28, 2019, 1:24 am)We stay here once a month when we come to Ottawa for appointments. We love it. They always have gifts for our dog Ozzy and have enjoyed our stay .the food at River lounge is good and reasona bly priced. We have rented a paddle boat and a canoe a few times as well .
Mina and Brandon at the front desk are always wonderful and helpful and greet us by name. It feels like our home away from home .
(February 23, 2019, 11:56 pm)Stayed in an updated room. It was clean and well appointed. Road noise was audible in the room although not a problem for me (block of rooms closest to the road)

(February 13, 2019, 7:27 pm)Great location. Would be really nice in spring/summer. Room was like a meat locker when we arrived. Took a couple hours with the heat on steady to get to a comfortable temp. A little attention to detail would eliminate the cob webs. Drains in the sink and tub had issues. Needed to coax the sink and tub was just slow. Clogged drains seem to be a problem in a lot of hotels. Comfy bed and dispite the poor sound insulation had a great sleep.
(October 2, 2018, 4:02 pm)Beautiful room, beautiful view! The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. This hotel is at a nice little spot. Our third-level room overlooked the Rideau River, which inspired some relaxing time on the balcony there. I've been here for a wedding before, which was also excellent, but this was my first stay overnight.
