Basecamp Cafe

SO nice to have health-conscious, organic, dairy-free and gluten-free cafe in such a convenient location! Such a great variety in food, and everything is delicious!! You can feel the positive atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door, and are always greeted with a smile. It's officially my favourite patio and healthy food spot for the summer! MUST TRY!!

I love this little cafe! My favourite thing is the watermelon flow water and the chocolate torte. It is so reassuring that it is all gluten and soy free as well as being low in sugar. I love sitting outside in the sun in the beautiful patio area in a comfy chair surrounded by plants. Bliss....

Superb smoothie options available! I often go for the "Champion" or "Inspire" option as they're so delicious. Having choices that are packed with healthy and nourishing ingredients after a workout is a real bonus. Everything is very flavourful and well-balanced.

I would also recommend trying the salmon/chicken bowl with the lemon oil too - very flavourful and full of goodies!

Lovely addition to this area! The staff is very friendly, and even offered kombucha samples. The space is very open and well lit. I tried the passion smoothie bowl from here. I thought it was a bit overpriced compared to the other businesses in Ottawa offering smoothie bowls, but I can’t say that I am disappointed! Would likely come again to try something else.
