“I had the great fortune of tasting the delicious cuisine of Chef Aquila, at a friend's wedding last week. We were in a cottage and Chef Aquila came with his staff to prepare the best brunch I've ever had. It was the first time in a long time that I felt sadness over knowing I wouldn't be able to taste every dish because of how full I was. His Eggs Benedict were sublime with a Hollandaise sauce that had the subtlest lemony taste which combined well with maple syrup. He prepared the bacon so well that I asked him for his recipe. After trying it at home, I'll never make it again any other way. The eggs had been laid the day before at a nearby farm and the sausages and vegetables were also sourced locally. There's nothing like a meal with locally sourced products that you can taste have been prepared with attention to detail and love for where they came from. I'll be calling up Chef Aquila the next time I'm in the region. Thanks Chef Aquila!”

“I have travelled on the island for Thanksgiving weekend and it was amazing. The place is beautiful and the fall colors were magical. Lorn and Diana are very accommodating, welcoming and available. They put at your disposal pedal boats and kayaks to go around in the island for free, we had a great time. I would 100% recommend for a retreat in nature a few hours away from Toronto. And you can bring your dog! Thank you guys!”
