Greening Bay Cottages & Marina

Great place for ice fishing!

We just came back from there and it is a favorite place of ours. It is gorgeous,great place for kids as the beach is so shallow and the water is nice and warm, and the scenery is spectacular. Everyone is so friendly,, makes you feel at home.. The cottages are equipped with everything you need except linens. Dan and Lynn Barnier are the hosts and are both such great people. Prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this gem, you will not be disappointed. Would love to add photos but they are on my phone and I am not.

We have been going to Greening Bay ice fishing for several years. Accomodations are great, huts are the best we have been in (we have taken trips to Quinte, Kawarthas, Bancroft, etc.). Service and communication has always been excellent. We always catch fish and some years have been better then others but we always get a couple of meals and some take home. In challenging conditions such as years with pressure cracks I have appreciated how they place our safety as their top priority .... even if it meant we could not go out. That year they worked hard to locate an outfitter at a safer location so we could still fish. My group looks forward to the trip north from southern Ontario every year.

A tad pricey but well worth it, with great amenities, and very accommodating hosts.

I took my family consisting of wife, two children, along with my dad. There was an operational playground on-site with lots of toys, and a beach that was very far into the beach. Water was great for swimming too. The cabin I rented was very clean and the it was on a well so the water was drinkable. All-in-all, I'd definitely return to this venue again, especially with my kids as they had an outstanding time.

My husband and I will be staying at Greening Bay again this year for our fifth year in a row. The cottages are clean, the beach amazing and Dan and Lynn are the perfect hosts. It is definitely our happy place!
