“Miles and his team have been a blessing for me and my lawn. After the winter, I was told by another lawn care company that I had grub damage. Miles came out and identified that it wasn't grubs, but rather voles that had damaged my lawn throughout the winter. His team came a couple days later and cleaned up my lawn, fertilized, aerated, seeded and it made a huge difference. They come for our regularly scheduled cuts on time and do a fantastic job each time. I am very satisfied with their service and professionalism.”

Decided to try this place out because our usual smoked fish place was out of stock, and we weren't disappointed. Super clean shop with a friendly professional guy in charge. The prices are fair and the selection is fantastic! I highly recommend trying the smoked Char. You won't be disappointed. The vacuum sealing helps keep them fresh but can often leave the fish a little bit oily but, heck, enjoy your Omega 3s! It adds to the flavour.”

“The Danygraig Bed and Breakfast is one of my favourite places to visit while in Parry Sound. It is a jewel of a house perched atop a hilly terrain overlooking the Georgian Bay if you are relaxing on the main floor of this warm and cozy home. A delicious breakfast served at whatever time you choose, and is second-to-none, served by a warm and caring couple named Linda and Stephen. I truly enjoyed my stay there and getting to know both Linda and Stephen, and I can not wait to come back next year. I can not rave enough about my experience. Do not leave Parry Sound without staying at the Danygraig House.”

“The short story of our experience with Ballentine Construction is this: Totally professional, on time, under budget. The longer, better story is that David Ballentine and his team help us transform two lovely but aging Georgian Bay cabins into a dream cottage. Ballentine Construction worked with us to install bathrooms, septic, solar, a kitchen, docks and a new roof to cabins that previously featured outhouses and the most basic electrical systems. The transformation of these 30 and 60-year-old cabins created a property that's true to its roots but modern and safe. All the work was done with sensitivity to the original design and the environment of our island, which is home to all sorts of wildlife, including the biggest fox snakes I've ever seen. Small problems in the project - the solar conked out over the July long weekend - were fixed quickly and effectively. We ended up with a home that exceeded our expectations, and made new friends at Ballentine Construction.”
