Grand Tappattoo Resort

I visited in Dec 2020, to get the Christmas feeling, I certainly got that.
There was snow, the lake was slightly frozen and the dining area was nicely decorated. It would have been nice if the outside area, the
beach had been decorated also. This resort is tucked away, the drive
was long and winding. The pool and dining area was not attached to the buildings with the rooms. But the views are nice. The rooms are updated and spacious with fireplaces . Staff were great, especially the dining room staff. The bonus was they had a spin wheel to save 5-50% off the food after each meal, we did well. There are no other restaurants around, so it was nice that the food was good .

Went tonight for the prime rib. The word OUTSTANDING could be an understatement. We had Veronica as our server and she was great as well. The Yorkshire Pudding was the best I have ever had.

We stayed at this resort is a hidden gem. The place is breathtakingly beautiful... It is surrounded by the lake with such a magnificent view. The resort offers kayaks and paddle boats and a restaurant with a view. They had fireworks the night nd it was such a wonderful surprise. Above all that the staff that works there are the ones that make all the difference. They are so welcoming kind and generous in their approach.... It is so heartwarming to see that. From Natasha who helped me make my reservation, to Emma, Matthew and George at the front desk, to the two guys at the boating centre.... So sorry i forgot your names, to Amanda the owner,...... We thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant and so memorable.... Will never forget your kindness and attention to detail and generosity. We got back and were immediately trying to book for next year in July/Aug... You are sold out...... We now totally understand

Great place for a family vacation. if you're looking to reconnect in a beautiful spot that has everything this is the place. Rooms are comfortable and range from deluxe accommodations to a very rustic in the woods feel. the restaurant offers pub food to fine dining. the beach is great with a dock a short swim out and lots of kayaks , paddle boards and canoes to use. Do the pontoon boat tour, definitely worth it.
