There a small playground for kids although the sand used as the base appears to be tilled (for lack of a better word) often, so when there is a big storm, it ends up holding a lot of water. So visiting the park enev a day after a storm can lead to your feet partially sinking into the sand. I say this as an adult of course, kids don't seem to mind the wet and soft sand at all.
