“Beautiful respite from the urban sprawl. Great wooden boardwalks through wooded, lush areas that bring you from the inner forest marsh area out to Lake Ontario. Great informative signs are scattered throughout the short trail and there are plenty of beautiful sites. The maps they have are useful for planning your walk as well. Went here for a Sunday stroll with my wife and it was a great experience. Will definitely be back, and look forward to enjoying it in all the seasons and seeing how the ecology changes. Well maintained and a wonderful destination so close to the city for a nice dose of nature.”

“Big hill with a gradual slope. Hay bales at the bottom. I just wish that people would walk up on the right side only. It's easy to plow into people. I gave 4 stars because it's a long walk back to the top.”

“Great little community park. Newly renovated with new landscaping and playground. Swingset comes with a special swing for disabled children, slides, swings, monkey bars and spring motorcycle rides. Bonus is the new exercise station placed in for active parents which include a short parallel bar setup. There's a couple good size benches to sit & watch your kids play. Located to the north of the playground is a large soccer pitch & a baseball diamond on the east of the playground. With a decent size FREE parking lot on the south of the playground and available streetside spillover parking if needed!”

“Jack Darling leash-free dog park is an excellent service delivered by the City of Mississauga, Peel Region and supported by the volunteers at Leash-Free Mississauga. I walk my dogs there almost every day. I joined the Leash-free association last fall; $20 for both of my dogs. I encourage all users to become members; it is a small price to pay for a safe place to walk my dogs.”

“Cute area for the kids during the summer (closed when we were there since it was fall/winter). Really nice walking trails, small beach areas and marshlands with boardwalks nearby. We went in November and was really nice to walk around with great lake view of Toronto too. Very picturesque.”

“Nice, quiet sandy park next to a few tennis courts. There are often stray tennis balls in the grass. Trails lead in and out from the park to the wooded area separating it and the row of houses in front. Great place to rest while walking my dog!”

“Cool park but need a little uplifting. Not every lamp's working during the night and basketball court would be a great feature.”

“I think it's a great park compared to some of the other ones out there it's very large it also has multiple gated areas so if there's a dog in the park that you don't like you can move on to the next area. I like the fact that even in the winter time they've left the agility stuff out. I would recommend this park summer or winter it's great”

“"Doug Leavens Park" is a condominium townhouse complex on a ONE WAY street. Children play, please drive slow. There are 3 driveways from Doug Leavens Blvd. The middle driveway is the EXIT, do not enter via the middle driveway, if you are a delivery driver, you won't be tipped. Neighbours, we encourage you to not tip drivers who don't follow simple one-way street signs. The children's park for residents has been removed. Children have access to an amazing public park by the public tennis courts next door.”

“This is one of our lovely parks here in port credit. The 3 star rating here is for the poorly run washrooms which is ongoing I am pretty sure everyone can agree. Now I am not your typical hard to please citizen who complains about everything and everyone. We can agree however that ain't nothing like having to change your young babies diaper in a rundown facility that gives every indication from the looks of it outside. Just remember to bring toiletries with you folks and don't bother trying to call for help. Enjoy the park.”

“This was a nice place that we stop at, lovely walk, ideally for cyclists. Lots of lovely views and we'll kept gardens. Shore line was not so clear and you had to walk further along to find a clear place. Water was dirty. However, it was a very nice Park area. Parking was ample, although this was a weekday...”
