“I met Dr. Van Boekel over a year ago after a fall and severe pain in my knees. I was reluctant to go see her after my family doctor recommended her as I am petrified of needles. When I met Dr. van Boekel, I immediately felt at ease and comfortable with her. She is a very compassionate doctor as well as very professional. She explained everything she was going to do, and let me know step by step as she was giving me the injection, i.e. you will feel a poke now, almost finished etc.. and when she told me it is done, I could not honestly believe it. I went also a second time last year to have an injection in my left wrist that was causing me a lot of pain and until now my wrist is fine. As the pain was back again few weeks ago in both my knees and were affecting my back, I went to see her again today for another injection and even asked to have both knees treated at the same time. I would recommend Dr. van Boekel to everyone who is in pain as the knee pain or any other pain is much more severe and the injection is not even one percent of the pain.”
