“Love this campground, camp sites could be bigger for over night camping. Fishing is great here, and the water is cleean. Never have any wildlife issues of raccoons or skunks coming up to you while your at the fire. Lots for children to do here with several parks and the campground puts on arts and crafts!”

“A great family hangout space! Two modern parks, a swimming pool just up the hill, a little mini-zoo, and of course this picturesque path that takes you over a dam and along the northeast side of the river. Public bathrooms open in the summer near the parks.”

“A nice simple nature park and walking trail. Takes you along the edge of the river and across some train tracks, where you can take a detour to walk across a fairly high train bridge, which my kids agree requires tremendous bravery and is super awesome. The little ice cream place just up the street makes for a great natural resolution to a refreshing walk.”

“Great, open space. One of my dogs easily jumps out of the ark because the fence is not very high. Wish there was some form of shade for them as it will be HOT in the summer. Love that it is quiet so even my other pup who is a bit dog aggressive can play with out other safely. The wetlands right behind make for an amazing stroll after playtime.”

“This place has just had a lot of renovations and updates. Our site was so new the gravel hadn't settled yet, making parking difficult. The sites aren't very big with no privacy. The campground makes up for it by having a great selection of activities for the adults and the kids. Very Friendly staff. But still needs better maintenance of the grounds. Better campers too. Trash was found quit a bit on our travels through the park. Looks like they are making great improvement throughout the park. A couple of more years and this park will be a great spot for a family trip.”
