Moffat House

We stayed here for a night while passing through Peterborough. The house has a lot of history in it but has been nicely updated and is well maintained. We had the Dundella Suite; it was gorgeous, bright, and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and our host was welcoming. We were very pleased with our choice to stay here!

Friendly staff very welcoming rooms clean and tidy home away from home the breakfast is amazing highly recommend if your staying in the Peterborough kawartha lakes area close to the downtown core walking distance ❤️

Very clean. Excellent food. I would highly recommended Moffat House if you or family/friends are looking for accommodations.

It's under new ownership and needs a little refreshing but the house is clean, and built in 1906 it's truly grand with a history. There are 2 large suites with sitting areas and some smaller but sizable cozy rooms. The rates are reasonable and the food is good and I will most certainly stay there again when I need a place to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Regina the owner was delightful and we had very comfortable and peaceful night. We were looking for a B&B after awful experience in the town staying in the hotels during hockey tournaments. We will be back here and would recommend.
