I had an excellent experience carshopping here. My wife and I test drove the Atlas, Tiguan, and a used Toureg. Dave was excellent and answered all my questions, even emailing me outside of regular bussiness hours. Dave even followed up days later to make sure I was satisfied with my vehicle purchase. They priced everything out for me, and worked tirelessly to make sure I got the best deal possible. I wouldn't buy a VW at another delearship. Also, I ended up with a 2021 Atlas R line. Amazing car, and even better people at Peterborough VW. Thanks for everything.
Simply put out of the last 5 cars I've bought this dealership has had hands down the best experience.
Service:
Service is always straight to the point and always helpful. At no point do they try to up sell you something or create imaginary problems. My VW Atlas had a stuck seat belt and they were able to get me in and solve my problem in under 5 min. An older Passat which had many problems none serious were never made out to be something that was the end of the world.
Parts:
Same experience here. You need a part and they will either get it if its in stock or they will ship it in. Parts have always come in when they told me they would.
Sales:
Buying a new Atlas was a breath of fresh air. What I think differentiates the experience I had here compared to other dealerships was how at no point did they pressure me to buy the car. They simply told me what the car was rather then the same old line of "oh this will be gone soon so better buy it if you like" or "oh I sell 500 of these cars a month better get yours fast". They were trying to sell me the car rather then the urgency to sign some documents. Furthermore what I saw was what I got. Never had to get some special ultra mega exclusive package to get all the features, in fact the manager threw in some free floor mats and a bumper guard for free with me even asking (about $500 value if I remember correctly). Obviously that is VW specific but they did have additional warranty and some accessories which they never wasted time trying to sell me (seriously who wants to sit for 30min listening to someone sell you another 2 grand worth of stuff that should be included in the car).
In short if you're looking for a new car I would highly recommending getting one from here. They are super helpful and you never feel like your just a walking bank to them.
Service staff were very courteous. Only complaints I have are that they did not: clean the vehicle (a sign on the service desk stated that cleaning was suspended for the winter and would resume in the Spring... it's August!), a chocolate-covered cookie crumb was left on the driver's seat (thankfully the seats are leather and I noticed it before sitting down) and the service maintenance book was not updated with the factory service performed.
My experience here has been amazing so far! Even during the pandemic everything has been made so simple and straight forward while still feeling safe and controlled. This is appreciated. Looking forward to purchasing my first Volks Wagon from this location!
