I had the most lovely visit today... in person yarn shopping! I was looking for all natural fibres for a special project. The proprietress was very helpfull and assisted my selection of her numerous options. I was happy to see a wide selection of yarns ranging from beautifully soft acrylic to the alpaca/Peruvian wool I purchased. No trip to LYS is without impulse yarn... I am already looking forward to the delicious ombre socks I will knit. Thank you for being my first yarn store as a highschool student. You are still my favourite.

I adore this store. The owner and staff are so helpful; the shelves are stocked with an interesting collection of books, and I always find something wonderful to read and great gifts for all!

We are so lucky to have this little gem of a bookstore in our village. There is always a nice cross section of current bestsellers and classics and the owner will order in whatever I want (if it can be found!).

Happenstance is a fantastic little bookstore in a lovely wee village. I love that I can buy books and yarn in one stop. The staff are friendly and actually know about books. It's a pleasure to just go in to look about. To add to the charm they even have some lovely pottery and rug hooks. Thanks for being unique.
