Katchawanooka Resort

This resort has been updated quite a fair bit over the years with new renovations or amenities added every summer.

This year, the resort has implemented a number of new safety procedures due to the pandemic. There's hand sanitizer throughout the premises and extra supplies like a plastic tablecloth for picnic tables. The cabin I received was very clean and aired out upon arrival, the windows are easy to open as well.

It is true there are rules you have to agree to - they exist to ensure that everyone is safe and can equally enjoy the premises. This resort and its rules are designed to be family friendly and quiet at night, so if you are looking for someplace more geared towards more rowdy, late night activities, this is not going to be the right resort for you.

If you are a family or are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is an ideal place. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind, especially by the fire pit. The owners are lovely and reasonable people. I always sleep like a log here!
