We stopped at the super friendly farm stand to grab some strawberries, and boy, were they fresh! They carry seasonal produce, so we'll be back!
Stopped in after I made a wrong turn, they had a great selection of fall veggies!
Wow! This was a great discovery! My friend wanted to spontaneously make a stop here to check out the produce. I’m not one to stop for these kind of places but wow was it a fun discovery! They had such an array of veggies and the pumpkins were incredible! I will definitely make a point of stopping by next time. 👍😎
Still the best place for corn, absolutely zero competition in all of Ontario and Quebec. No matter how good or fresh other sources end up being, no one has ever had a sweeter and stronger flavour of yellow corn then Laundry’s! It’s actually a real problem - it’s ruined corn on the cob for me! I drive from Ottawa to the county once a month to visit family, so I only get to eat it 4 times a year during my visits in the seasonal months (I always take 18 home with me and go nuts eating just corn for 4 days straight... my poor bowels!).
Can no longer buy corn at farmers markets as it can’t hold a candle to the incredible produce at Laundry’s. You can also feel good about your money going straight to the grower, whereas so many farmers markets these days are filled with resellers and sourcing produce not that differently from grocers. Support our small(er) scale farmers ❤️
