The Lakeside Motel Restaurant

Great food! probably best burger I have eaten in a very long time. Great service too. A bit pricey.

I've driven by the Lakeside Motel many times and wondered what was behind the black fence. The answer quite clearly is an oasis. It was like stepping into some California resort. The pool, the cabanas, the motel rooms and a wonderful restaurant overlooking the lake. Service was stellar. We are in the sun and the owners spent a great deal of time making sure that we were well shaded by moving umbrellas to help us. The waitress was knowledgeable and the food arrived very quickly and was delicious. We had the burgers, jicama tacos and calamari. When you enter your quite literally transported to another place.

They even had food options for the dog.

Pretty good handheld food items here. Our seating arrangement was a bit weird, benches set far apart made it difficult to speak with my colleagues. Great atmosphere, amazing location by the water.
