“This Beautifully designed home is exactly what anyone needs to escape the everyday. It's like you have been transported to a private Country estate with all of the comforts of home and so much more. I stayed here with 5 close friends and the spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath home was more than we could have expected. Beautifully decorated upstairs and down, fully equipped kitchen (and outdoor BBQ) we relaxed in the hot tub as the snow fell, with a glass of wine from one of the many local wineries and also enjoyed the covered outdoor fire table. We were able to enjoy our meals together at the very large harvest table, and many conversations in the great room where we all sat in comfort. This amazing home is one we hope to visit again and again, sharing old memories and making new ones. Thank you Brian and Agustin for making our stay incredible, I hope to see you both soon. Melanie”

“I stopped at this shop after a ride in the county because my chain was skipping and I couldn't have asked for better honest service. The owners aren't your cookie cutter "serve the public" kind of people but who needs that! Boring. My chain and rear gears needed replacing and the owner did a great job but he also repaired my old freezer basket that my dog rides in and I know he wasn't going to charge me but I wouldn't have it and asked him to give me a price. 10$! I will definitely go back for repairs to my bike and for gear.”

“Our second stay and it was equally as enjoyable as the first. It was fall and the leaves were starting to change colour, beautiful area at this time of year. The grounds are extremely well kept and the site we stayed in was easily accessed and level. Services were conveniently located in our site, the only issue was with very low water pressure a couple times during our six day stay. Lake Avenue, while located at the south end of the county, is still convenient for accessing the rest of the area. You'll find nothing is really far away. We brought our kayaks as the resort has an excellent beach and boat docks on East Lake, but weather prevented getting them out. Our bikes got well used on the Millennium Trail, a definite must do while staying in the area. Plenty of wine tours to take in as well as craft breweries. The owners of Lake Avenue are welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Thier resort is a combination of full-time sites with a number of transient sites. The permanent units are clean and well cared for. I would imagine the place is gets fully booked in the summer months, but we have been lucky enough to find spots on our spring and fall stays. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return here again.”

“Really enjoy the tour around the harbour and learn much of the history of the surroundings of Picton from residents/neighborhoods and other history. Tour last about 1:15-1:30 around that ballpark. Seating is limited though so plan to reserve in advance”
