(February 9, 2019, 12:11 pm)Great food, friendly staff, great for casual get togethers. Has become a family favorite. Edit for update: recently remodeled, have removed a partition wall, back bar, and small game area to allow more seating-which is great, but it has lost a bit of its pub-style coziness and now seems a tad chilly and very loud (which is why I removed one star) ????
(February 5, 2019, 10:11 pm)Food was amazing. So many choices so we'll definitely be back. I did intentionally go there to watch a game though and they wouldn't put on the volume because they said too many people complain unless its "a big game". So I will be back...just not on a game night!
(February 4, 2019, 12:06 pm)My family and I have tried this restaurant on several occasions since moving to the Bowmanville area. It came recommended by several locals. Even after multiple visits, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The food is mediocre. It's too large to have any real meaningful atmosphere.

High quality with large portions for a low price, everyone was more than happy and we had a party of 16. No mandatory tipping for group of 8 or more and I'm sure that worked out to the waitress's advantage. Went to lunch Saturday somewhere else and complained halfway through our meal that would should have just gone to Frosty John's again!
