“I generally love Firehouse and have been to many locations. They are not all the same like they should be. This one was excellent. Firehouse in Bowmanville, ON. Well made sub (I had the beef and cheddar brisket, as is) and plenty of meat and toppings (unlike some stingy other locations). The staff was friendly especially KEON who made a specific request to understand the pronouncing of my name when he called out my name on order. Overall great experience.”

“My friends and I went to Mary Brown's for some late lunch and were greeted with great smiles from staff. Everyone working in there was polite and kind. Restaurant itself was clean, as well as the female washroom. I got the spicy two piece combo with the wedges, coleslaw, pineapple crush and strawberry cheesecake pie. The chicken was fresh, tender, juicy and the right amount of spice. Wedges were well flavoured and crunchy (I found out from the owners that they were made in house!). The coleslaw was really good, not too overly saucy. Pineapple crush was really tasty too. Strawberry cheesecake pie is a must order as well, super crunchy and just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the end of the meal! Overall awesome meal, just like their Pickering location. This place is great for anyone looking into getting quality fried chicken and freshly made in house food served with warm smiles. Would definitely come back 110%”

“Driving through Oshawa on the way to Havlock, called in for a pizza... SO EXTREMELY HAPPY WE DID! We got a 2 topping pizza, well done - it was so absolutely delicious. Thinner style pizza, nice and crispy that stayed well done as we were driving. Big, soft but crusty crusts perfect for dipping. This place needs more 5 star reviews so people stop in and try it! We waited an additional 15 minutes when we arrived for pickup, but it was well worth the wait. It gave us a few minutes to stop in and check out the General Store next door (great baked goods!!!!) We were accommodated with a couple extra dipping sauces for the wait. We were very happy with their hustle and customer service. We will 100% stop in again!”

“I haven't had Square Boys in quite a few years but had fond memories of it so I stopped by for a quick slice Monday afternoon. I asked for that and got a good sized pepperoni slice for about $3.70 after tax. It was popped into the oven real quick and I left a couple minutes later with my tasty slice. And it was tasty. I was impressed. The crust was fantastic. Not greasy at all and had a great taste. The sauce, cheese and pepperoni were also great. I was happy and will stop by again for another slice for sure.”
