    The amazing smell of fresh baked food when you open the door is something. We went for breakfast the service we got was so warm and friendly. Plus the breakfast was tasty and fresh. We got the Avacado Toast and French toast. A must visit place in Downtown Bowmanville. Definitely recommended.

    We have stopped here several times. I have never been disappointed.

    Such a great bakery in the old downtown part of Bowmanville. This is what has been missing downtown Bowmanville for many years. A great downtown bakery.

    My favorite is still the Ginger whoopie pie. Likely you will want to share this treat.

    Take some time sit enjoy talk with friends meet new people. Is that not what great food is for?

    A downtown Bowmanville staple! Toasted Walnut is a staff favourite at our store for delicious and nutritious work lunches. Not to mention the added bonus of grabbing a freshly baked treat for dessert. The butter tarts are a must try! The staff are extremely helpful and the atmosphere is so welcoming. We love Toasted Walnut!

    Such a cute little place in thre heart of Bowmanville..with home made goodies and lunch.. loved it ..the soup was amazing..butternut squash mango..yum

    If you are looking for the best croissants (cheese and butter) in Bowmanville, you can get them at The Toasted Walnut. They are so fresh and flaky that they beat any coffee chain offering. They offer a variety of scones and sweets that makes it hard not to walk out with everything. Make sure to stop in and treat yourself while supporting this local shop.
