(November 10, 2018, 7:03 pm)A wonderful place for young people to learn about archeology and how the early settlers of Ontario lived and survived. During the summer it is a great location for day camps. The Dufferin District School Board makes use of the site for students to learn about archeology in a two and a half week course. The students are trained to do onsite work with people who work in the field of archeology and partner with the staff from the Kortright Centre for Conservation.

(July 30, 2018, 11:58 pm)Currently not the best person to review these lands as I drove in through a side entrance to meet up with a research team doing bay and moth stuff for the ROM.
It is pretty territory though, close enough to "downtown" Ajax/Pickering.

(February 11, 2018, 7:19 pm)Amazing winter camp experience for our Girl Guides. Equipped with snowshoe and cross country skiing equipment, comfy leader rooms, generous cafeteria portions and knowledgeable facilitation. Mother Nature offered us some proper snow, and it couldn't have been better!
