I’ve been eating at this place since I was in high school- I remember going here back when I was in grade 10 which was now 17 years ago! Back then I would order the General Taos Chicken with friend rice. After all these years of developing your pallet and trying new things, the General Taos is still one of the best I’ve ever had! This place is now a staple in Pickering among other things like the nuclear power plant and petticoat creek. When you hear of Pickering Gem has to be in your top 5 landmark thoughts. This place easily gets a 5 out of 5 for me.

I recommend getting the general tao chicken and the fried rice, but everything on the menu is amazing! You really can’t go wrong with anything here.

At the first moment you step in this restaurant they give you a good feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a friendly restaurant to hang out with buddies or with your date. delightful cuisine, professional chef de cuisine, reasonable price and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Food is amazing. Prices are great. Really nice and friendly people working behind the counter. All on all a great spot for Chinese food
