DDSB is great. Many school boards don’t hand out Chrome Books to grade 7s. So be happy that DDSB does. During COVID-19 if there’s a delay, try to understand the demand and supply. It will take time. Of course available sites on the chrome books should be limited. It’s a learning tool, not your entertainment set. Teachers are lovely. For those that want the schools to shut their doors and move to virtual; not everyone feels the way you do. That is why you are given the option to keep your kids at home. Don’t ridicule the board that can remain open and don’t judge the parents that send their kids to school. You may do what you believe is right for your family. If you’re a kid who wants to learn from home, you need to advocate for yourself and not post a negative feedback about the entire board.
Durham is doing the best they can so that all kids are having a good time. I give them a 5/5 because they are making my school a better place and even though the time are hard they make it fun.
wow, so many little kids just hating on school for no reason. this board is decent, much better than tdsb imo. the schools in the ajax-pickering area are n o t understaffed. i only have a problem with the dance subject for term 2, replacing drama. i dont understand why it's a subject, or the benefits of dance. i might be biased though, as i really dislike this subject.
