Swiss Chalet

Just got the Festive Family Special. No problem with the Chocolate, Stuffing, Cranberries, rolls or salad. But the Chicken was dried out, I had the dark meat which usually the moister piece and top layer was like leather , could not even eat it and the french fries were completely cold. We live exactly a 5 minute drive from restaurant, so the french fries had to be sitting out. So not very good value for a $50 meal. My advice to management as we march toward another lock down. Focus on getting a quality product out the door or you only have yourself to blame for poor sales, not the unprecedented times. UPDATE: The next day I received a request to review my experience . I filled it out letting them know what my experience was. I then recieved a thank you email and then later on an E-gift card to compensate me for the bad experience . Mistakes happen. Nice to see Swiss Chalet cares enough to try and make things right when they make a mistake.

Good location. Good service. Decent prices. Maybe 5% of the menu is vegetarian.

The lineup for pre-ordered foods was brutal. We arrived at approximately 7pm for a 7:20 pickup and we didn't get to the counter until 7:30pm.

Then after getting home we discovered that part of our order was wrong. One baked potato was received in lieu of french fries; plus we paid an up-charge to have 1 Festive Meal Additions ($4.00) and didn't receive the chocolates!!
