My wife and I decided to suddenly have a small gender reveal party and all the other places we called said that it was too short of a notice to get done. Sweet girl cake shop stepped in and said they would make cake despite working on other orders as well. Even though we ask for a very simple cake with the baby's gender, the cake that we received was beautiful well made, and it tasted amazing. “Anna, the owner of Sweet Symphony Bakery donated cupcakes and cookies of different flavours to a hospital downtown for Nursing Week this year. She even took the time to deliver them (coming from Ajax). Her cupcakes and cookies were nothing short of delicious. I had the Nutella cupcake and it was probably one of the best cupcakes I have had!! I also had one of her rainbow cookies which reminded me of the rainbow chips ahoy cookies except yummier since it’s freshly baked! I would highly recommend!”

Great Canadian Bagel in general is a great place, they have a good selection of Bagels and cream cheese spreads. My personal favourite ones are: The Jalapeno Cheddar Bagel Pumpernickel Bagel Garlic Bagel Onion Bagel Jalapeno Cream Cheese Feta & Spinach Cream Cheese This location has improved so much over the past few years. The bagels are always fresh, the service is lovely and the prices are reasonable. I've noticed that when there is a GCB special on, this location has the most reasonable price, other locations offer the same deals at a higher price. Something else to note is that this location is one of the very few that make pumpernickel bagels in stock. A few times I've called ahead to ask about these bagels and the staff were so nice to set a few aside for me.”
