Hands down the best immigration consultant/customer service person I've come across. Laura Mayes is her name and she might as well run a school in customer service.
-Immigration consultants normally don't talk to you, I had spoken to many who were charging $$$ just to talk, wouldn't answer one question. It's a stupid way to do business, if I have to spend $500 just to decide who to hire, I'd rather just do it myself! I felt as if this business was a bunch of people prying on our fears of making mistakes on the application.
- Immigration forms and processes are scary, intimidating and very stressful, It's not just filling out a few forms no matter how much we say it is.
-Takes a lot of time, I've stayed up nights gathering information, checking, re-checking and thought I was thorough.
-During Covid, I used support groups on Facebook as it was really tough to get answers elsewhere. Laura answered my questions there and simply placed her RCIC # beside her name, she never pitched to me, never tried to sell to me. She answered multiple questions at any time of the day. I could tell she was knowledgeable in all streams of immigration and she never, not once...asked me to pay her to answer questions.
- I asked her to review my file so I'd feel safer submitting it. I was pretty sure this was going to be a formality and mostly my forms were done.
-She charged me a VERY reasonable price and went above and beyond, she delivered my review to me in 2 days. I was expecting a week minimum.
-She found the smallest spelling error, grammar suggestions. The forms had recently gone online for spousal sponsorship and she guided me through how to handle requirements like writing on the back of the photo (for mail in applications) when submitting online.
-She got invested in my story, my family, my difficulties and talked to me like a friend, Be it morning, be it night. She stayed up till 11 PM working with me. She collaged our photos together, she edited my story to appeal to IRCC's systems. She also had my documents notarized.
****I would recommend her to anyone and everyone to talk to her, I assure you she will earn your business, gain your trust and you'll WANT this level of customer service in ALL your dealings. I'm thoroughly impressed and regardless of IRCC's decision. She made my application so much better than I had. Guided me every step of the way and went above and beyond. ****
Seriously, if you need advice, a file review, someone thorough to file it for you or just someone to ask questions to help make a big decision like moving to Canada. Give her a call.
