Great selection of quality audio for everything you could wish for!
Super knowledgeable. Extremely fair pricing. Lots of support... Best shop in town
I dropped in one day just for a look and immediately got into a conversation with the very personable owner, Grant. I was lamenting about my recent choice of a new turntable (purchases elsewhere) and if I had made a mistake. Without any pressure I realised I had and Grant soon had me on the right path, he offered to sell the old/new turntable for me, which he successfully did, and in the meantime I purchased an Acoustic Solid which I am very, very pleased with. I thought I had a problem or two with the turntable and Grant patiently spent a considerable amount of time trouble shooting only to discover it was self induced!
When the time comes to upgrade the rest of my equipment I will without hesitation return to House of hifi.
Recently had to replace my stereo amplifier and came across this store.
I have to say the service was exemplary.
Grant took time to walk me through the options he had available. He made sure I had ample time to listen to all the equipment I was interested in.
Good selection of high quality products and absolutely the best service as well, I would thoroughly recommend the store to anyone.
I recently visited the House of Hifi in Burlington and had the pleasure to speak with the owner, Grant. Grant is personable, highly knowledgeable and a real audiophile.
As he agreed to meet me after hours, (I live in Northern Ontario, now, so scheduling is a nightmare when I am back in town), I also found out he is a great business man in the old fashioned sense. Honest, hardworking and willing to accommodate.
As a musician, I have a pretty good idea as to how each instrument on an album should sound. I'm not easily led down the path by the "latest and greatest" in audio technology or purist voodoo. I just want good sound.
Grant took the time to showcase what has happened in the audiophile market over the last ten years and, in the end, I didn't go over my budget.
Thank you, Grant, for a very positive experience.
I highly recommend this store.
