Dr Monteiro gave me an emergency appt as I was seeing a flash in the corner of my eye. She confirmed that I had a retina tear and arranged for me to get it repaired at Emerg at Joseph Brant that same day. I would like to sincerely thank Dr Monteiro for her prompt medical care, assessment and action.

Great doctors but poor, abrupt, and authoritative reception this morning by the front desk. Not a nice welcome at all.

Quite surprised: Dr. Monteiro contacted me. She was concerned after reading this review. As noted, great doctors and I'm impressed with her looking into the front desk reception.

My family (mother, sister, daughter) have been going to Dr. Monteiro for many years. I find her eye exams very thorough, accurate and informative. On one or two occasions I needed to see one of her associates and found them equally friendly and dedicated to their profession. I always purchase my frames/glasses from them, and if there has ever been an issue, the associates are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help. There is no pressure to buy, but they do have a wonderful array of fashionable frames. I highly recommend Dr. Monteiro and Associates. They are busy and you do need to book your appointments well in advance but if there has been a cancellation they always call and offer me an earlier appointment.
