Fighting Griffin Martial Arts

Medium sized school focusing on traditional martial arts (based on goju-ryu karate-do). It also has a Hap Ki Jitsu program (more for adults with joint-lock, grappling & self defense). They incorporate principles from both to teach streetsmart self-defense skills to all ages

I have trained in a few martial arts over the past 20 years and a member of at least 3 dojos. This one has the family atmosphere but definitely instills and promotes discipline both in and outside of the dojo.

The school is well equipped with training, sparring and exercising equipment (kubodo: weapons). Both training floors are matted - great for rolls and falls.

Definitely a spot for a beginner to get introduced to the martial arts and advanced enough for seasoned martial artists to sharpen their skills.
