I have been going to Blyss for over 10 years and have always had a great experience, regardless of the stylist! Highly recommend!

Earlier today I got a haircut from Rosy and to sum up my experience with her it was horrible. Rosy was extremely unfriendly and before even cutting my hair she was in a bad mood. I've gone to numerous different hair salons and her haircut was by far the worst. I understand everyone has different preferences but when I specifically say I only want 2-3 inches taken off and you do the complete opposite I'm going to get upset. Every hairstylist has a different technique when cutting hair, although Rosy didn't have any techniques she had NO IDEA what she was doing. She used an electric men's buzzer to cut my hair! At first, I didn't want to say anything because I only asked for a simple straight haircut and I thought she was going to be capable of doing it, but I was very wrong. When I was sitting in the chair and she showed me my hair I started crying, my beautiful long red hair was all gone. She buzzed way more than 3 inches I would say she took off maybe 5 -6 inches because at the end of the haircut my hair was barely below my shoulders. The least she could have done was make it all one length, but she couldn't even do that right, my hair was extremely uneven and looked like a choppy mess. I also want to add that from the beginning I asked her to straighten my hair because my hair is typically curly and after she roughly washed my hair, she proceeded to straighten it while my hair was damp! I want to give this salon a 1 star but thanks to Angela and the receptionist they fixed my hair. They saw the HORRIBLE job Rosy did and recut my hair right away. Angela is an amazing hairstylist she turned my uneven mess into a great haircut, she made all my hair one length and gave me the haircut I originally asked for. I can't even explain how grateful I am for the other workers at this salon they are truly a lifesaver. All the other hairstylists seemed very nice and friendly and I would recommend this place to other people although I will tell them not to go to Rosy. I suggest that Rosy pursues a different career because she lacks communication skills, basic social skills, and overall is a bad hairdresser. I just want to say that this salon is great besides Rosy. Also Thank you Angela for all your help you are amazing, I will recommend you to all my friends because you are a lifesaver.

Moved to the area a few years ago and found a wonderful stylist and salon...Angela welcomed me and made me feel like a valued customer immediately! She and other stylists always try to fit me in when I ask for a last minute appointment and take the time to get to know me. I have been so happy with the quality of services and friendliness of the staff...thank you for making me feel at home here in Oakville!!!

I have been going to see her for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. Not only is she a fabulous hairdresser but she's the sweetest person. I highly recommend her!!!
