Great staff, pretty good selection for most instruments.
Friendly and knowledgable staff. I came in for a bridge reset on an acoustic guitar that took over 2.5 months to complete. The job itself was well done, but there was a lack of communication that was frustrating. At first, I was told it would take about a month to complete. I had to call in four times for an update, and 2.5 months later it was finally done. When I came in to pick it up, the manager was friendly and explained and apologized for the delay. I understand and can appreciate changing timelines, my frustration was that no one reached out to communicate them to me. As a new customer at this shop, I really felt like I was in the dark and at one point even thought that maybe you damaged the guitar but didn't want to tell me (could happen). If a customer has to call in more than once or twice, you should take a few minutes out of your day to proactively make that next call and update them on the situation. Other than this, a job well done.
Beautiful shop, great selection of choice guitars and mellow vibe from employees. Great humidor room with a good selection of high end guitars.
A good vibe and a music store that they are willing to try help you out or give a good advice .
Gear Music has an excellent community of employees with welcoming attitudes toward employees. The store itself is based on trust inviting the customer to pick up and play just about any instrument in the store to test out. (with exception to any instruments that require premission, ie. Custom shops) It's been the guitar store I primarily go to for my gear, Instruments, and any music related questions/seccond opinions.
You come for the guitars, you stay for Scott.
