Way overpriced for what it is. Costs as much as the Toronto Zoo, but maybe a third of what that zoo offers. It's very much still under construction, with many exhibits either brand new or still being worked on. The staff are really nice and friendly, which made this a good experience. However, I'd wait a few years for them to finish building out the park before it'd be worth anywhere near the price they're charging.
Great place. Lots of animals to see. Very clean and well maintained. Informative shows done throughout the day on numerous animals. The only thing is bring your own coffee as none is available for purchase in the park
Cannot say enough good things about this place. Very large so there is a lot to see. There is also multiple jungle gyms, a splash pad, petting zoo area and some bouncy thing for kids. There is also a catch and release fishing area and paddle boats.
Really has everything. I spent 6 hours here the other day just seeing the animals, the presentations and doing the giraffe behind the scenes tour.
You can feed the giraffes and the rhinos after the shows.
I recommend going to the hippo presentation, otherwise you won't really see them out of the water.
I wish the otter cage was a bit better set up. I've never seen them out which is fine but I think they would come out more if there was more to their outdoor exhibit.
The map for the zoo is ....well...you kind of gotta use your imagination ..
Went with the kids. There didn't seem to be a lot of animals out in the park. Most were either sleeping in their dens or hiding. Nice place, not too big. There's a few playgrounds also for the kids to play at. And there's a hop on/hop off tram service that's constantly rising around the park if you want a grand tour instead of exploring yourself....
Very impressed with the staff. I stopped by today and attended 2 different talks given by the Haley and Chris. I asked a ton of questions about the animals and the service that they provide. I was very impressed with their knowledge and passion for the animals. Loved the isolated location for the animals. Very kid friendly and fun for adults. Loved all of the info plaques on better informing the public about the animals, different regions that they live, and info on the impact that humans make on the wildlife. Would definitely recommend going.
