“This was one of the places we would always stop at when my family and I would travel to the Niagara Region for our summer vacation when I was a kid. Stopped in to reconnect with my youth as well as with the memory of my dad (he used to work as a fireman on 4-8-4s out of Hornpayne back in the day). It was a bit of an emotional visit. Sadly to to preservation work being done/needed you can't enter the locomotive cab or the caboose at this time.”

“This is the place to go if you want quality deli meats at reasonable prices. The kolbassa and ham is first class. The prepared pork schnitzel is huge and a great deal at $5. I would also recommend the frozen homemade perogies and soup for a quick meal at home. For inexpensive takeout they offer prepared sandwiches and have soup. There are many authentic Polish goods here from dried mushrooms to baked goods. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for tasty food and friendly service. It’s a short walk from the American falls.”

Anything with an expiration date is basically out of stock, but that's understandable given said border closure. I picked up a mug and some ice wine so they had what I wanted anyway.
