The staff are friendly and helpful. I don't get how some reviews have a good experience regarding having prescriptions filled accurately, yet others have had some that have been filled incorrectly.

The public should realize that there are thousands of different drugs out there, some with very similar names, and there are more and more being introduced to the market all the time, and the pharmacies have to keep up with them all, which can be a daunting task.

No pharmacy wants to fill a wrong prescription and hurt a customer. Everyone makes errors, and hopefully errors of this magnitude will be caught before there is any harm.
Hopefully the customers also take note of their medications and keep track, and know what they are taking to help avoid errors also.
The pharmacy staff have a lot on their plates and are constantly pressured to fill prescriptions accurately and quickly. It can be very stressful most of the time. And the pharmacy staff do a lot behind the scenes besides count pills, which the majority of the public unfortunately thinks. There is a lot more to working in a pharmacy than that.

The reason that not all drugs prescribed are readily available is because the pharmacy either runs out if they are popular drugs and have a 'run' on them, and they also do not want to keep a ton of them on hand in case they don't get used up and end up expired. Then the pharmacy has to take the loss.

Very alert to medication interactions.
I was having a prescription filled and AJ was very quick to identify complications with another medication I was taking. They contacted the doctors office and rectified the issue. This type of care and concern has earned my family's loyalty.

They are careful when dispensing prescriptions. I brought in a prescription and the pharmacist noticed that it was going to cause a severe reaction with a medication that I was already on. This was missed by a major hospital in London On. even though they knew my medical history. He is smart and I will always be grateful to him for noticing this. The rest of his staff are also knowledgeable and friendly.
As with most pharmacies now, they don't keep huge inventories of certain drugs. I read the review of a the lady who couldn't get her entire prescription filled. I see at some pharmacies they are asking to call in advance for them to even order what you need! They have been there for years and are a great pharmacy!

Wonderful local pharmacy! Our experience at the Orchardview have always been nothing less than fantastic.
