Lake House Restaurant

On a clear day, you can see forever. Make sure you ask for a table with a view. This time we were seated near the back. It was a special occasion (My daughter's grad) so we wanted everything to be just so... The prix fixe menu had everything we wanted so most of our party had that. My friend and I had lamb shanks, with garlic mashed potatoes and veg. The meat could have been more tender. Everyone else had a fabulous time though.

I'd give it a 5 / 5 for the atmosphere ambiance and service and parts of my dish (I had the braised beef short ribs) but the sauce was beyond sour almost like sucking on a sour key or something while trying to eat the beef and also the beef was very dry. That's all I've tried there so far and for the price the taste was sub par and very below expectations. I'm sure if I had the seafood or lobster mac n cheese I'd have a completely different review here but I can't risk 60$+ for an unknown here again so I'll stick with 3 star review and not go back.

For years I've always wanted to come to this restaurant and a few weeks ago we had some family from Europe visiting.
I got a chance to dine at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The food the atmosphere and the staff was truly amazing and attentive.
I am vegetarian and I had a chance to try the butternut squash risotto and it was very good and had a great squash like taste to it. I would definitely recommend this place, we had an amazing view of the lake it is just a wonderful atmosphere.

Every time I drive down to Niagara Falls I pass by this restaurant, so we decided to finally try it and we were blown away. From the modern decor to the unbelievable view of the water. We truly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious. We went with one of the specials of the day. Cant wait to go back in the summer, as it looks like they have a nice patio.
