Ready for it? Coffee that makes life good again, pastries that call you out of bed, breakfast and lunch dishes that impress not only the eyes but taste buds, staff trained to engage with patience and humor, a manager (Laura) that runs a solid operation while delivering an unrelenting stream of comedy among light-hearted customers, a social mission (teen center) that allows high schoolers to hang out in a dedicated section of the cafe without pressured to buy anything, and an owner that smiles at you as she’s wiping down a table (!) – all fusing into an over-arching ambiance of light and joy you can’t help but tell everyone about. Anyone who gives Conversations less than five stars has erred expectations or an unforgiving eye for the forgivable. Conversations wants you to come back – not for the money/business but for what they recognize in you as your contribution to its community and the world at large. “Great apps, pleasant staff... But "Nashville Hot" sauce for wings is not Nashville Hot though, it's just Honey Garlic and Frank's Red Hot. That's called "Honey-Hot". Nashville Hot implies it will resemble Nashville Hot Chicken, which is typically a chili heavy spicy red sauce, sometimes with brown sugar for sweetness. There is no association to Nashville style sauces in this name. I dislike Honey Garlic and love Nashville Hot Chicken, so this little detail, however petty, was misleading and ruined the meal for me. Don't advertise that it's a Nashville sauce if it isn't.”

“Being vegan in beamsville and having options for something quick and fresh hasn't been very easy all the time but thanks to root 8 it's been much easier. My wife and I ordered take out, i got the beyond big mac and its was unbelievably massive and delicious and my wife got the root 8. Also huge and delicious! The fries were fresh cut (I think) and incredibly good! Price was a bit high but the quality made up for it entirely! All in all 5 out of 5 from us!”

“We thought we would try a new place for our pizza night and chose Jordan Pizza. We are so impressed with everything that we won't be going anywhere else for pizza! When we arrived to pick it up, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We also noticed they had a nice patio and beer on tap for dining in (which we will be doing next time for sure). The place was also very clean and looked newly renovated. Then we got home with the food. The dough had that perfect crunch, the sauce was beautiful and you could just tell when you had a bite how fresh it was. The wings were also delicious! Good size, and the sauce was so tasty! Skip all the chains with the generic pizza and wings and support this wonderful local business. Once you try JP, you won't go anywhere else!”

“For years I've always wanted to come to this restaurant and a few weeks ago we had some family from Europe visiting. I got a chance to dine at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The food the atmosphere and the staff was truly amazing and attentive. I am vegetarian and I had a chance to try the butternut squash risotto and it was very good and had a great squash like taste to it. I would definitely recommend this place, we had an amazing view of the lake it is just a wonderful atmosphere.”
