Green Island Chinese Restaurant and Bar (Thorold Stone Rd.)

My Husband and I are still fairly new to the Niagara Falls region so always in search for the best Chinese Food Restaurant. Tried a few but never really pleased. Than we heard of Green Island. We both really like snow pea pods. Wow, totally delicious. Every dish was fabulous. Shrimp, scallops….beautifully done. Our search for our Chinese Restaurant is now complete. Nothing beats knowing you have a great restaurant to turn too. Highly recommend Green Island. Excellent Chinese food. Excellent service.

Good food. Fast service. Food came out hot and fresh. (Almost too hot to eat, but that's a good thing!) Good deal on beer. Reasonably priced. Will be returning:)

We were visiting Niagara Falls for a night and I found this place online, the reviews were nice so I thought of coming here to try out the film. I have to say the food was amazing. It really had an event at China taste today. I have eaten Chinese food around the world and this just comes up to the standards I like to say Chinese food should be. It really had an attentive Chinese change today. I have eaten Chinese food around the world and this just comes up to the standards I like to say Chinese food should be. We ordered the Kung pow chicken, beef with blackbean sauce, fried rice, shrimp roll, and spring rolls. He also ordered chicken corn soup but that was in today for me. But everything else was wonderful. Definitely will come back to this place again. Don’t get fooled by the empty restaurant has nothing to do with the phone it’s very good.

Needs more variety priced better. Averag to high priced. Got a soup to try that had very little meat in it??? Tasted 3.5 out of ten. Others with me did have other meals that looked very tasty that I heard were. Does have a nice hang out spot with pool table and a few other things. Sit down restaurant or sit at bar available.

This place is great. Their food was excellent. We had spring rolls and calamari ( this is the best! ) and yang chow ( fried rice with some veggies, shrimp and meat ) they were all delicious. I can’t wait to try other food they have. Serving is more than enough ( some extra to take home ) and price is right! The servers are nice and friendly too.

Went here for lunch last week with a friend and the food was very good. It was quick and friendly service and the food came out fresh and hot!!! Prices were good also. I would definitely eat here again and will recommend to my friends! Thank you for the great lunch!
