Grape Escape Wine Tours

My husband and I did the "mid-morning bicycle tour-Saturdays only" option from Grape Escape, and we had a wonderful time! Our pickup from the B&B was right on time. We were fitted properly for bicycles at the main store and then led out on a great day by our guide, Sarah. We enjoyed each of the four wineries we visited and the bike ride was fun. Sarah was knowledgable, friendly, and supportive. Overall, we would highly recommend this particular tour with Grape Escape!

The escape room is excellent. Really high-quality, great little touches, surprising developments and challenging puzzles.

Rich, the owner, was really accommodating and friendly. Gave us enough hints to keep us on track (we were only two) and chatted with us afterwards to get our thoughts.

Suggest the online booking process be improved to be more user friendly. I did not receive a booking comfirmation and had I not stopped at the store the day before to ensure we were booked we would had missed-out on a great time.

Did one of the all day bike tours and had a great time. Our guide Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable. The biking was kept at a reasonable pace and Kevin regularly checked to see if anyone needed to slow down or take a break. The tour included a well-rounded experience of three wineries and a brewery. Overall, a really fun way to spend a Saturday.

I would give this place 500 stars if I could! They were absolutely wonderful. I have a muscle condition and wanted to bring my own bike that has pedal assist. They let me drop the bike off the day before and we’re even giving me a discount because I had to bring my own bike. When I showed up the next day I realized I had forgotten the battery for the bike! Not only did they drive me back to the rented house to get it they did it with huge smiles on their faces. I didn’t feel judged or like I was an inconvenience at all. In my haste to get the battery I didn’t realize I had also forgotten my small computer for the bike. When I got back to their store and realized my blunder Rich made a call and saved my trip! He arranged a scooter rental for me, drove me to the rental shop and refused to let me pay the rental fee even though it was totally my fault to begin with. I caught up with my group at the first winery and was greeted by Mac, a wonderfully lovable guy who not only made me feel comfortable but also insisted I relax and enjoy. The tour was amazing, but the best thing about the whole trip was the Grape escape employees. I highly recommend the Grape Escape wine tours if your looking to explore the Niagara-on-the-Lake area wineries.
