“For such an influential part of Canadian history, the family grave sites feel like a forgotten bit of history surrounded with suburban sprawl. I always appreciate it's hard to upkeep everything in our history but the Butler's are a significant portion of what made early Canada and the grave sites are beyond forgotten, they're practically in people's backyards. It honestly feels like if the local developers could have moved them, they would have. That said, it's an easy walk along the two mile conservation trail, and worth taking a few minutes on your way to the garrison where Parks Canada has done a great job preserving buildings.”
