“Ok. This is a very good donut. The fritters are probably the best I’ve had. The strawberry/rhubarb was delicious and all and all not too sweet! Why the 3 Stars? I call it like it is. While the dough is perfect and the flavours are creative, where they lost me is on the “cream”. Had the key lime, with a fake tasting lime flavour and I have no clue what that oily whip is since it is certainly not cream. Likewise for the Coconut “Cream” Great donut but filled with some fake whatever- just doesn’t cut it. The whole 100% vegan thing is doing a disservice to some of these donuts. At the very least try and make a coconut whip cream to fill the Coconut ones. My wife who is a coconut cream anything fanatic- simply couldn’t eat them. They’re really good- but absolutely could be A LOT better.”

We ordered the Hawaiian Punch burger (patty, pulled pork, pineapple and fried onions), original cheese burger and Chicken Sandwich (Granny Smith Apple which was a very good touch) with Gluten Free Buns. “I love this place for its $6.95 breakfast all-day special. Can you say all-day when you close at 2:00 PM? Anyway, it's a downtown institution unchanged in 50 years, still owned by the Greek couple that opened it in the 1970s. I wish they had a larger portion of home fries in the breakfast special because their home fries are excellent. Good coffee. Very pleasant staff.”

“Just wonderful. We came for valentines day, and we will definitely be coming back. Staff was excellent, very caring and knowledgeable. Food was next level, each course was great but my favorite was the PEI oyster fritter. I will dream about it. Definitely give it a try, it is pricey so keep that in mind... But definitely worth it especially for an special treat.”

“Wow. We were in town and were looking for a place for a quick but wholesome and delicious bite to eat. We happened to stubble on happies and good thing we did. Their juices amazing. Their salads though, right up there with some of the best I've had. There is so much care that went into the fresh preparation of this, we were blown away. Fresh, tasty, well portioned (actually we even struggled to finish they were so large).”
