This is our favourite place to bring our dog! It's large and well maintained, with a pond puddle for dogs to cool down in. There are often 5 - 10 dogs in the large dog section, and 1 or 2 in the small section.
I love this place. I only wish they didn’t close it in the winter. The only other dog part in St.Catharine is a shared large and small dog area and this is not a good thing. :( my dogs have been badly hurt at the other location. Maybe they could split it into two like Burgoyne.
First dog park I took my Mini Aussie to and she loved it. It was big enough for her to run around and the other dogs were all really friendly. I also liked that there were lots of places to sit inside the dog area
Big area with lots of space for dogs! It seemed like the area for small dogs didn't really have any dogs in it but the larger area was awesome! All friendly dogs
A great dog park...trees,grass,water.....everything a dog park needs. My dog, Charlie had a great time and so did I. If you go to St. Catherine's, definitely go there with your dog. Plus, the area it's in, is the old residential south end of St. Catharines, surrounded by woods. It's also a huge park and picnic area though not sure if the public pool is still there. I know this park...known it from the 1960's. Its was beautiful then and its beautiful now. Should visit it, if your ever in St. Catherine's.
