“This is a good place! The hosts were warm. The room was nice (it's not the Hilton, but still comfortable and clean). Because of Covid, we wanted to stay in a motel rather than hotel as we used to. We were a bit worried it could be run down but it really wasn't. It was kept up to date and everything was in good condition. We'd choose to stay here again if need be.”

“Amazing antique carousel. The attention to detail on the animals is incredible. Who can beat the cost of $0.5 per rider? We bought 20 rides for $1. Just to note that the card is only valid for the existing season (so 2019). We had no problem using up the rides with the four of us. Just note that there are some animals that do not go up and down, rather, are stationary. It truly did not matter to us. We will definitely be back.”

Park

“There is one main trail, a 2nd trail closer to the canal, then another trail on the other side that winds around a pond. It is a popular spot for taking dogs out, for riding bikes. A few rocks are placed together as rest stops, high enough to sit on comfortably. Wear boots on wet days as the trails are dirt and/or gravel and can get quite muddy with puddles. Walk to the end and watch the ships coming and going, sailboats and looking across to Toronto's skyline to pick out the shape of the CN tower.”
