Great building, clean and a lot of space. It honestly looked like a hotel when we first walked in to it. People are friendly, and amenities are nearby. The neighbourhood is great, not like some parts downtown. It's clean and looks nice. There are parks nearby.
CLV was a pleasure to deal with. They took us through the process of renting an apartment. We we're not accustomed to the way things are done over here in Canada, as we are from the Netherlands. But again, CLV group was so helpful and we believe we got a good deal. Quality/price wise. P.S. the girls at CLV Group rock!
I have recently moved into the apartment building on Roehampton Ave and I love it! How they renovate the place is wonderfully done. I owe a great thank you to Carolyn Sander as she was a tremendous help and was very helpful with every question I had for her before moving into the apartment. She is very friendly and a great employee of CLV Group.
Being new to St. Catharine’s, the apartment search process was all a bit overwhelming; however, upon viewing the Maplebrook Apartments, all of my concerns were quickly addressed.
The building is located on a quiet residential street and in close proximity to a lot of necessary amenities including grocery stores and pharmacies. And while the neighborhood is certainly attractive, it doesn’t compare to how lovely the building itself is. The lobby has a small seating area and faux fireplace, which adds to the warmth of the building, and while I’ve never been a big fan of elevators, ours is great. The laundry facilities are clean with plenty of machines, and the parking located in the back is safe and quickly accessible via a side entrance. The building also has secure access in the front, as well as the side.
While I cannot speak to all styles of units in the building, the 1-bedrooms are great. Not only are they newly renovated and freshly painted, they are extremely spacious and bright. The kitchen has a ton of cupboards and nice appliances, while the bathroom has some great finishes. The balcony is also large enough to offer an outdoor living space. One thing in particular that I love about the unit is the amount of storage. As mentioned, lots of cupboards, but there is also a closet in the entryway and in the bedroom, a small linen closet, as well as a storage room located in the unit. The building is very quiet, family friendly, and the other tenants are pleasant.
What has really made this building stand out to me is the exceptional management. As I lived in the building while renovations were being completed, I always felt well informed of what was taking place. Information letters were left regularly. Also, the building is very clean and well maintained, and the sidewalks are always shovelled. Any and every request that I have made to on-site staff has been responded to promptly and completely. This has also been true for any dealings with CLV Group. The office manager for the St. Catharine’s area, in particular, has been immensely helpful on numerous occasions.
Maplebrook Apartments, located at 70 Roehampton Ave., is a wonderful place to call home, and as a life-long renter, I feel pretty confident in saying that.
