“When my husband installed my new Bosch dishwasher it showed an error code. Apparently it is Bosch's policy that they look after any problems covered by warranty and do not even allow the stores to assume the responsibility. I contacted them who arranged for someone from LIncoln Appliances to service the machine. Turns out the circuit board was nonfunctional, so Jamie, from Lincoln Appliances took the new dishwasher to their shop to to order the necessary component(s). I visited Nickerson's and talked to the owner, explained that years ago I had a similar problem with a fridge and so the present owner's father, rather than repairing the fridge, gave me a new one. I said that I felt that I was now getting a refurbished dishwasher for which I had paid full price. Junior said his father had raised him to be like him, and so he not only replaced the faulty dishwasher with a new one, he had it delivered to the house free of charge. (We didn't have the original one delivered). You wouldn't get service like that from a big box store! By the way, in a few weeks there will be a new Bosch dishwasher for sale as a used one at a reduced price at Nickerson's.”
