Long Beach Conservation Area and Campground

Camping was great! Kids loved it! friendly ppl. There's a nice little restaurant down the street walking distance called Jessie's place food is good also get big bags of ice.

If you're coming for a day visit, price is steep: $24 regardless whether vyou're coming in late in the afternoon or for the entire day. Washroom facilities are in need of a reno, you get one decent kids playground some gravel beaches (sandbank once you enter water) and some picnic areas.

Great place if you have an RV I guess.

Been to park 2 weekends in a row. Would give higher rating but park is very boring, nothing for kids to do except ride their bikes around getting in the way of traffic. Park is well taken care of but security should do more rounds. People were having fires with a FIRE BAN and partying until 1am probably stopped only because of the rain. Seems like they cater to seasonals, because their dogs are aloud off leash but it clearly states dogs must be leashed when you check in.

We attend an annual event here. The park staff is very good and will cheerfully accommodate any reasonable request. Unfortunately they ran out of ice and could not get more delivered in the hot weather. Also ongoing issue with the ladies washroom door banging shut.
However, lake was beautiful and park is very pretty. Beach is cobblestone and may be difficult for some people to walk on. Overall worth a visit! We will be back.
