“This was one of the places we would always stop at when my family and I would travel to the Niagara Region for our summer vacation when I was a kid. Stopped in to reconnect with my youth as well as with the memory of my dad (he used to work as a fireman on 4-8-4s out of Hornpayne back in the day). It was a bit of an emotional visit. Sadly to to preservation work being done/needed you can't enter the locomotive cab or the caboose at this time.”

“This is a great place. Its so cute and aesthetically pleasing. You get 10 tulips for each ticket and they wrap it up so nicely for you. Don't go on days its raining. If they see lightning then they make everyone leave the fields and close the place. You cant go back in even if you don't have all the tulips. They just said better luck next year. I don't blame them either, is it for safety but we should be able to wait it out in our cars and then let us back in to finish picking. Overall I will go back again and bring more family. Its a great place. And so so cute! Lots of colours. Always check back to see whats bloomed because not all the tulips are at the same time.”

“This is a beautiful place to walk through, sit and rest and admire. There is a lot of green space, benches, natural plants, flowers, and fountains. It would be a great place to also have a picnic for the day. There are pebble walk ways and also stairs throughout, so there may be challenges for some people with mobility issues, but there are also ramps in portions of the space.”

“If you thought Niagara Falls from the US (NY) side was amazing, go over to the Canadian side and you'll be mesmerized. The place is so beautiful and breathtaking. The areas around the park are well maintained and clean. I would recommend all of the "nature attractions" in the Niagara Falls.”

“Beautiful park right in heart of Niagara on the lake. Perfect for relaxing or exercising playing a sporting activity. Lots of children playing in the playground, perfect for families. Lots of room for a picnic with the family. I love walking through the park and down the main strip ,such a gorgeous neighborhood and the water is just walking distance down the road. Lots of history here to discover if you are a history buff. Everything is very clean and well maintained.”

“Very nice little play area to bring your little ones. The play area has monkey bars, slides, climber, and a hanging line. My kids love to play here while I can sit on the nearby bench to watch them. There's a tennis court and a swimming pool. I am not sure how to book that court but I have enjoyed viewing people play tennis. More recently a track has been built to the Cannery Drive which helps some people access this park on foot.”

“A nice little park to bring your kids. The play area has swings, slides, and a climber. Parents can sit on the nearby benches and watch their kids play. The park has no trail but it is surrounded by a sidewalk that gives you opportunity to walk a few steps. It is not maintained in winters, so be cautious when using in colder months.”

“Very nice little park. Play area for younger children with swings slide and jungle gym climbing apparatus. Tar mac basketball court. Grass area that gets used for soccer. Shade trees and benches and two enclosed tennis courts. Park is enclosed by fences on three sides and local ice rink on fourth. Adjoining the smaller park is another separate ball diamond of regulation size replete with night lights and set of bleachers.”

“This is a good place! The hosts were warm. The room was nice (it's not the Hilton, but still comfortable and clean). Because of Covid, we wanted to stay in a motel rather than hotel as we used to. We were a bit worried it could be run down but it really wasn't. It was kept up to date and everything was in good condition. We'd choose to stay here again if need be.”

“What a great place to hike! Tons of great trails to choose from and I recommend taking a picture of the map before starting. A huge area for picnicking post-hike with public washrooms available and are very clean. The hikes are pretty rocky so definitely bring proper shoes and a water bottle. Great views of the Niagara river and the jet boats and tons of great little “lookout nooks” for pictures. The best views are on the Riverside Trail because you get to see the river from so many angles. We did a few trails and it took around 2 hours. Parking was very affordable as well. There’s quite a few activities in this area and you can easily spend the day here. We drove by a tree top trekking spot, butterfly conservatory, and botanical gardens. The whole area was very well maintained :)”
