Goodwill Industries Niagara

This is a great place to find a great deal! The staff is friendly and inviting. ????
I hear some people say " their prices are too high for a place that gets donations." I say those people have no idea what Goodwill is all about. Maybe they should get educated.
First off, when it comes to the donations, how do you think it gets out on the floor? The staff has to go through it all and sort it. They try to make sure that only the best of the clothes, shoes and purses they recieve goes out. Do you have any idea how many people bring absolute garbage to them??? They are not the dump!!! But someone has to go through it and those people are employees!! How do you suppose they get paid??
Second, Goodwill through those donations is able to help families in our community by creating jobs, training programs and affordable senior housing in Niagara. Thinking that's a good thing!
Third, no tax!
$3.00 t-shirts, $6.00 shoes, $6.00 purses,,, yes, some of these items may be $10.00 to $25.00. check the Brand name.

So, if your not satisfied with the prices and you think you can get it cheaper somewhere else. Then by all means go somewhere else!!!

For those who think that Goodwill donations are given to help the needy it's not, it's a place to take the things one does not need!
And customers who shop there may find something they otherwise would never be able to get.
Also find that people who think that way are not needy but greedy!

The staff was friendly and helpful, he even helped me out to my car with my purchases. This was the best visit yet.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Electronics can be tested before you buy as you cannot return them for credit or refund but manager is flexible and kindly. Furniture and clothing are plentiful and have different policies.
Shopping here is always a pleasant adventure for the bargain hunter.
