Niagara Health - Welland Site

Jan 12th i had cataract eye surgery and from the moment i walked in i was greeted with a smile and given directions to where to go.
The 3rd floor staff were awesome and everyone greeted me with a smile and introduced themselves to me and told me everything would be fine.

I managed to dislocate and fracture my ankle last month (in a lame, very uncool way) and was brought to emerg by ambulance. I experienced absolutely fantastic care from the moment I was wheeled in. The nurses were so kind, attentive, and sympathetic. I promptly had an assessment, received an IV access, and of course, pain meds. The staff were so great in keeping me informed of what the plan of care was, and they were super gentle while transferring me and my mangled ankle from the stretcher to x-ray table. My good care continued the next day when I had surgery, my surgeon did an AMAZING job, and the nurses in recovery ensured I was comfortable and recovering well. A huge thank you to the staff here for turning such a painful and scary experience into a positive one!
