This is too the treatment centre that got me my life back I’m so grateful I got too go at Stillwater. My life was falling apart I had no idea how far gone I was I had lost hope and was truly on the worst path in my life . When I got too the centre I truly was guided with all the true tools of life . I learnt coping skills , people skills everyday living skills and most of all how too succeed in life by getting cleaned up . I faced demons I never knew I had . I recommend the staff and councillors there they really have hearts of gold on helping anyone succeed in the their future . I’ve been too other rehab facilities before and it didn’t work for me . Stillwater really have a passion in seeing others succeed this is why I am still too this day sober I’m grateful and I thank my higher power . Thanks mark ,Laura, ken , Lisa , Shane , Sam, Kylie, Aaron ,rob it’s because of you all that my life is worth living for . My parents and family and my job have really seen the change in me that I’m totally on track and everyone so proud of me I’m so grateful . THANKS STILLWATER FOR GETTING ME BACK ON THE RIGHT PATH .
I was very apprehensive going to another treatment centre at first. But as soon as I got to Stillwater I knew it was going to be a different experience. The centre is a comfortable mix of the control and structure of a hospital institution, but with a friendly, almost home-like feel to it.
All the counselors are as easy to get a long with and open up to as they are professional and knowledgeable. They provide lots of information to help teach how to cope with dealing with life as it comes, and they make what could be an uncomfortable detox as easy as possible. This coupled with a safe, supportive home to learn to Live normally again and a number of enjoyable activities between group therapy (access to a gym, yoga on site, fun outings on Saturdays, etc) made all the difference for me at a time when I had given up hope.
I would not be healthy and moving forward so positively in my life today if it wasn't for everyones efforts at Stillwater. They gave me a new life and a new perspective on how good living a sober life can be. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is ready to "give up the high cost of low living" (as is said in the recovery world). Take the first step. It may be hard, but it was the best step I have ever taken in my life.
This is the place to go if YOU want recovery. The program is well thought out and directed by professional staff who really do care and not just say they do.
My daughter is in recovery and I can ask questions day or night if I need some input from the staff. The support is truly amazing and has given me confidence and hope for a brighter future.
Kyle Stojsin you are truly an incredible Counsellor/Mentor/Supporter. Thank you.
I was in a very dark place in my life for many years. I had embraced this darkness as my everyday normal and it had almost completely destroyed everything that meant anything to me. I was lucky enough to have made the best decision ive ever made and went for rehabilitation.
Kyle Stojsin was my primary counsellor and I cant even come close to explaining how grateful I am for his help. He is someone I could actually feel comfortable with and for once in a long time, someone I could be honest with without feeling judged. If ever there was a time and place to have someone like this in my life, this was it. He didnt paint recovery as something simple and easy and something anyone could do but his approach taught me and motivated me to believe it was worth working for.
He gave me hope that I could have a life again.
I just hit 13 months clean and sober and I owe so much of it to the help and guidance and positive motivation that Kyle gave to me. I have not only rebuilt myself, but I have elevated who I am both physically and mentally. If I ever come across anyone who was in the same position as I was struggling with addiction I would, without hesitation, refer them to Stillwater.
Thank you again, Kyle. You have been in my daily prayers and will always continue to be. My family and I will always be grateful for who you are and what you do for people.
